3 Serenades
October 29th, 2009 under Guitar. [ Comments: none ]

3 Serenades (2006), for guitar solo, were written for American Indian guitarist Gabriel Ayala.  Serenade No.3 (the last of the set) was performed by Mr. Ayala at the National Museum of the American Indian, in Washington, DC.,  October 8, 2006.  It is perhaps the more pensive of the three.

3 Serenades, score 11 pages, 15 minutes: $20.00

Romance and Rondo
October 29th, 2009 under American Indian Flute, Guitar. [ Comments: none ]

Romance & Rondo (2007) is for Guitar and American Indian Flute.  The two separate pieces are both in a binary form, although the rondo is a “Rondo all Fuga.”  The flute part, of course, requires full command of the chromatic scale, classical style, as requires all of Dr. Yeagley’s American Indian flute music.

Romance & Rondo:  one score, 9 pages; 8 minutes: $18.00.

Sonata for 2 Guitars
October 29th, 2009 under Guitar. [ Comments: none ]

Sonata for 2 Guitars (2009) was originally completed in July, 1995.  It was re-written for two guitars in July, 2009.  It is the first composition in which Dr. Yeagley fully exploits the principles of his new harmonic organization.  The original work, for solo guitar, was considered impossible to perform.  The identical music was simply applied to two guitars, of equal musical importance.

The Sonata is in strict classical form, with four movements:  Allegro spirito, Largo cantabile, Minuetto, and Rondo.  Each movement is in classical form.

Sonata for 2 Guitars, one score (two guitars) 23 pages, 15 minutes:  $25.00
